Delivery Scheme

unicast

• deliver a message to a single specific node
• dominant form of msg delivery on Internet

broadcast

• deliver a message to all nodes in the network

multicast

• deliver a message to a group of nodes

anycast

• deliver a message to any one out of a group

geocast

• deliver a message to a group of nodes based on geographic location
